Where were you...

... when history was made?

We decided to wake up our older two so they could witness for themselves the acceptance speech of our first ever black president.

It's so profoundly awesome it is beyond words.

Hannah did complain about being a bit tired this morning, even though she'd wanted to stay up watching the election coverage.

I cried when it happened, but after spending all day in a precinct poll watching I was shocked at how quickly it was settled.

I didn't quite believe it until I saw his speech, and then Mom and I just let the tears roll down.

It's about time.
