where to find me...

I'll be under this stack of books all semester. You won't find me over the rainbow, you'll find me beneath the books. That's where I'll be. Don't even ask how much they cost...

Things are moving along. We are preparing to go to the hospital in a few weeks. Real patients, real nursing students. Say a prayer if you pray, "Dear (fill in the blank), please don't let us kill anybody..."

It is exciting. I have my little uniform and we got name tags today. I am official now.

Oh, my husband didn't think the photo really showed how high the stack went, so I compared it to an almost 5 year old.

He more than measures up!

Off to fetch him from preschool now.

Spring and leaves?

The spring semester has begun! It should be a fun one. We start clinicals! W00t! So, I have Adult 1 with lab, Microbiology with lab, Nutrition, and Pharmacology this semester. I pushed Statistics out to this summer.

I quilted the wall hanging. Do these look like leaves? Not perfect, but it was my first attempt.

Well, I have an 8 am class tomorrow, so I better head to bed...

Snowy break

Break, sweet break, don't end. I have enjoyed you so.

I have read two novels, just for fun. I'm making a wall hanging that is sadly very overdue. I have had the option of sitting on my ass and doing nothing for hours on end. Love it! Next week I'll have to start getting back into the grove of school. Buy my books, study up, and get ready for the wild ride of another semester. I am doing well though. I managed to pull all A's last semester. Gotta love a teacher who grades on a curve!

So, here is the wall hanging in question. I'll get some more photos of if after I have it pieced. It snowed again today, so I spent most of the day in my sewing room watching movies and sewing. Yup, I like days like that.

After our trip to Kansas we got home and there was still tons of snow on the ground from the huge storm. The kids woke up early and wanted to go out to play.

I enjoyed our holiday break. It was a wonderful way to end the year and a great way to start off the new year.
