Life is crazy with 3 kids but it's manageable with quilt making.
That was an awsome article and I didn't know most of that stuff!! I know if we have another baby we are going to have a midwife/dula becuse I want to have the baby at home or in the birthing center neer our house.
Midwives and doulas are different yet important int their own roles. A doula is a labor support person who helps you be comfortable, relaxed, etc. during labor and a midwife is the one who catches the baby, so to speak. A midwife is trained and knowledgeable with all the aspects of pregnancy and birthing.I absolutely loved having Seth at home. Birth centers seem to be a stepping stone for a lot of women who don't want to be at the hospital but aren't quite comfortable with birthing in their own home. Although, the amount of support you'd get at a birth center isn't much different than what you'd get at home. Still no epidural.I could talk all day about the benefits of home birth... so if you ever have questions or want info I can point you in the right direction.
