New hair and a new quilt

I am so happy with my huge king size quilt. I love envisioning something and then bringing it to life. Ok, I also like when it looks like I thought it would!

Here is a shot I took of myself so you could see the new hair style. I like it. The only down side is I have to blow dry my hair or it doesn't look all that great. I am a wash and go kinda gal. Lazy? You bet!

Well, we have to run off to a birthday party in a few minutes. We have like 5 or 6 little kid birthdays just this month. It's expensive to have friends. :)

I am going to work on the binding for my baby quilt this week. I finished up the machine quilting while watching season 6 of Sex and the City. Hey, I have to get all caught up so I can go see the movie!

Wow! That Quilt turned out great. I really love all of the colors. I don't know how you do it - that talent must come from your Mom's side! :)

Your hair is so very blonde again! Too bad you were cursed with the wicked premature grey hair like the rest of us on your Dad's side. I guess you had to get something from us - other than those beautiful blue eyes!

Miss you and Love you!

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say I was a hot mama but the hair does look good. Thank you though.

Aunt Debbie- My mom doesn't sew but her mom did. Maybe it skipped a generation. Yeah graying early isn't very nice. At least we can color our hair.

Yup, Hannah was shocked, shocked, to learn that I don't sew. She couldn't imagine that Ellen didn't learn to sew from me, the way she's learning from Ellen. But my mother and grandmother sewed. My mother sewed all these little tiny Barbie clothes for my Barbie doll that I never played with because I prefered my toy horses. But, Ellen's sewing talent is a marvel to me, that's for sure!
