Another One Down

I finished another quilt top! Ah, the sense of accomplishment is so great. The kids helped hold up the quilt while I took a few pictures of it. This is actually the same pattern I used for Misty's quilt but it looks completely different. Gotta love fabric choices.

Now I get to decide what to do next. I have a few that I'd like to do.... hmm.....

We've had a rather quite weekend all in all. Simon had his little birthday party yesterday that happened to be at the Tae Kwon Do place. He is itching to go back but we are going make him wait one more month. It is a "no contact" sport at his level so I don't think it's a big deal for him to start going again. Anyway, Hannah is off at her b-day party right now. Seth is down for a nap so the house is eerily quite. I think I'll play with some fabric even though the dishes need to be done.

Here are some pictures just for fun.

Budding artists.

Nintendo DS junkies.
Aren't toys also wrist bands?

Could you please read to me?

OH Ellen - Your kids are SO cute. I am glad to hear that everyone is doing well!! You have SO much quilting talent. I am dedicating my first sewing project to you, it is already done, uglier than hell, but I am proud none the less.......

I do not expect you to display it in your home, just know that you were my inspiration to do something as brave as try to quilt when I still can't sew on a button. :)

Love ya,
Coni

What a talented quilter you are! My grandmother would be so proud of you - surely it is where you inherited your talent (as we know it didn't come through me.) And, could the kids be more adorable? Quiet weekend here, too. (Read: boring.) Barbecued steaks yesterday - I'm doing a whole chicken on the grill today. I'll be ready for next weekend!

Gee, I hope your not actually dedicating your project to me because it's ugly! :) No, I'd happily display anything you create for me.

Of course my kids are cute! They have good genes.

Mom- You are talented. You are a fantastic photographer. My great grandmother would not like that I machine piece and machine quilt. It should all be by hand.

Yes, and she disapproved of housewives who used dryers for their laundry, too, rather than hanging the wash on the line.

I love it! Very pretty. It is amazing how much fabric choices & placement will change how a pattern looks.

Of course, I'm jealous that you are showing pictures of all these other quilts and I haven't seen mine yet :)

I wish I could be you & finish a project. My latest has been in progress for 3 months now... Need to get working since Shawna's baby decided to make an early entrance!

I love the posts with pictures - your kids are so darn cute! The quilt turned out really nicely too... If you ever need someone to make a quilt for, I happily volunteer. :)
