Yesterday, I noticed we have two birds building a nest in the tree next to the house. I hope they don't get scared away. It'd be so much fun to watch them. Seth and I watched them bring twigs to the nest. I'm not sure what kind of birds they are. I think they look like doves.

I thought I'd show you some of the fabric that is taunting me.

I am going to start on something tonight. This stack doesn't even represent all I have on my little to do list. I think there are 3 potential quilts in this stack alone, plus I've got fabric ready to make a quilt for a baby boy and my fabrics to go with my dad's t-shirts.
Seth is asking me to get off the computer and come play outside. We're going to have a picnic in the back yard again today. Better go make some lunch!

They are mourning doves. Mike calles them turtle doves. They make a sort of sad, cooing sound. They love sunflower seeds, and will eat right off of the ground, if you get black oil sunflower seeds from Lowe's or a garden supply place. (Aren't long lenses wonderful!)
Ooh, that stack is full of pretty things! Yum!
