Wedding quilts
I love this quilt. The colors are so vibrant. It is destined to be a wedding gift in October...
I quickly moved on to the next quilt because I need it for another wedding and this wedding is Labor Day weekend! I've done this pattern before and really love it. These Anna Maria Horner fabrics are fun in this brick pattern too. I'm going to quilt this one myself since I don't have enough time to send it off to the machine quilter.
We've been spending the rest of our summer relaxing and playing. Simon had Cub Scout camp this week. He had a good time, thankfully. Otherwise, we've hit the beach, Six Flags again, and we went bowling. Summer is going to disappear and school will start up again soon! Gotta have fun while we can.

LOVE that brick quilt... the patterns and colors together are so yummy!
Oh, I'm so glad you're having fun! I wish you were here at the county fair to explain to me exactly what the judges were thinking when they judged the quilts.
Sam, I love the fabrics too!
Mom, there are many different categories they use to judge quilts. Techniques like hand or machine quilting, hand a or machine applique, machine or hand piecing, overall, different sizes, etc.
I love the colors, too! I wish I was getting married or having a baby :)
